How To Consign
Here's a walk through the entire process, from start to finish. This will help you get a feel for ReRuns R Fun before you get started.
1. Sign Up: Get Your Number
You must have a consignor number to consign. Register to get one now. You will be asked for your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, to select a date/time to check-in your items, and if you would like to volunteer.
You will also be asked for your deposit information in a safe and secure area.
2. Gather Your Items
Our Consignors must bring at least 20 acceptable items to sell. View the list of acceptable items for this sale here. There is no limit on the total number of items a Consignor can bring.
There are limits to the number of items you can bring in two categories. (These limits are lifted for Volunteers who work 20 hours or more)
- Junior’s clothing: A maxiumum of 10 items
- Boutique/Pink Lady: Prior approval necessary, just ask Mary@ReRunsRFun.org
Clothing must be in excellent condition. Please launder and iron them. If your items do not smell fresh or if they look wrinkled & worn, they will not be accepted. Please remember, this is not a garage sale. Take the time to present your things properly and you'll sell more!
3. Tag & Price Your Items
Follow the tagging & pricing instructions closely. If you have any questions, please ask us before you check in. It is required to use our online price tag program. It is easy to use! You'll need 8.5x11 white card stock or 3x5 index cards to create your price tags
4. Check-in Your Items
Please allow 1-1/2 hours for your check-in appointment. The last day of check-in, appointments may take 2+ hours, so please be prepared.
Keep your appointment. We offer 5 full days of appointments to accommodate our many cosigners.
At your check-in appointment, we inspect all items for quality, proper hanging and tagging. Please do not take it personally if some of your items are not accepted. Any items not accepted can be taken home or we will donate them at the end of each day.
We will print a barcode for every item not on a hanger. Each barcode reflects your cosigner number and the price you have designated for that item. These second barcodes are required on all non-hanging items. Please use our online tally sheet for these second barcodes. You will find the link to the Tally Sheet in your MyReRuns account once you've registered to Consign.
After your items have been inspected, you will be asked to hang your clothes on the racks in the correct location for the size and sex. Our volunteers will place your non-clothing items on the sales floor for you.
5. Shop the Sale
Each consignor receives one pre-sale pass to shop before the sale opens to the public. One adult per pass (no infants or children are permitted). Be sure to bring your children’s measurements. Our kid’s sale is the biggest around, so plan to spend hours shopping the bargains!

6. Your Profit
You receive 65% of the selling price. There is also a $10 administration fee deducted from your deposit. Your profits will be directly deposited into the bank account of your choice. Deposits will be made within one week after the sale. Your fees may be tax deductible; check with your tax adviser.
The other 35% goes to the various charities that we support.
7. Pick Up Unsold Items
Because we are a non-profit charitable organization, all unsold items are donated to local charities. However, we realize that some of our consignors would like to have the option of picking up their unsold goods. We offer this option to any consignor that works at least one 5-hour shift or selects one of the Donation items.
